What are the benifits of putting a .21 speed conrod into an .21 vspec after break in?

Make the crank last longer from the oil hole in the speed rod wich is lacking in the v-spec rod. How they designed the oiling in the v-spec crank doesnt seem to work like they thought when designing. At least thats my theory on why a steel rod pin on the v-spec crank wears out so fast.

So it's definetely a good upgrade? I already bought it, but I can return it within 30 days.

Keep it....run the stocker for a gal or 2 and replace.

I 3rd this. Keep the speed rod and after break-in and then install the speed rod.
