RECIEVER BATTERY QUESTION

I have a Losi 5 hump 1400 mAH 6 volt reciever pack and was wondering when I discharge it how many amps should I use and when is the cutoff(i.e.-once it gets to 4 volts stop discharging) Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
offroad racer

According to my triton manual the cutoff should be 5.5 volts and the charging rate should be .7A for a 2 hour charge or 1.4A for a 1 hour charge. I always charged my losi pack at 1A before switching to the losi lipo pack.

you dont have to discharge it

So you just have to charge it?

nickel metal packs dont have to be discharged, just charge it

same with your starter box batteries.

If your wanting to cycle that pack take it down to 4 volts then recharge.. its not a bad idea to do now and then....

yea you don't need to do this all the time. every now and then is probably good but it's not necessary all the time.
