NEXT UPGRADE FOR LOSI 8T 2.0 RTR
I got a losi 8T 2.0 RTR to get into the 1/8 scale nitro racing seen. Know I am hooked since I have bought the truck I have upgraded the motor to an OS v-spec also got the Alum. shock caps and steering arms and upper brace. So whats next? BCE speed flex chasse or King heazd rear hubs or something else. let me know what you think the next best upgrade is.

Track time. The biggest upgrade of them all

no, leave the chassis alone, unless u wanna splurge for the BCE unit which is far tougher than the 'team' chassis. but perhaps look at that for next yr.
honestly lookin at what you have. i'm a firm believer that people buy the lie (hype) and go out get the stuff in lieu of practice and gettin dirty. i will give you a suggestion. but comin from my time with the buggy here in the last 2mths, as i am an electric guy who runs this to hang out with his nitro friends....leave it alone. you can make it far faster than any 1 part. and whats a hot part if u lose 3-5sec on ur lid.
but my suggestion is a small 1, but a good 1. those asymmetrical rear diff guides, the plastic 1s do wear and begin to deform. get the heavy duty pieces from losi (which also give u any and all shims u'll need to make ur diffs happy in 1pckg) and sure up that backend of ur drivetrain for 20bux. simple and effective, ur truck will thank you.
give'm the biz with ur 'lowly' RTR

PS- Dont know how 'dirty' ur track gets, but the losi rear mudguards can make your teardowns/rebuilds less misserable

+ 1 on mudguards

they should be the same as the 1.0. since the arms didnt change.

The arms did change on the truggy. They are wider, but you can use the arm guards just have to put a hole in the arm for the guard or make your own like a lot of us have with extra lexan from an old body.
A good upgrade is better tires, if not the best one besides practice.

yes of course the tires preferred by most at ur local track. didnt know bout the arm change to the trug. figured they carried over like the buggy. sure makes ya think how ur going to cut out your next body b/c the extra can come in handy

Either buy extra rear hub bearings or buy the King Headz hubs with the bearings. The outside bearings in the rear hubs break due to more stress on them from the wider rear arms.
