the box comes ready for lipo... you just disconnect the Y harness and soldier up a deans, and your ready to go.. only thing i would recommend using better awg12 wire and soldiering direct to the motors.

don't forget the deans... also when you rewire the box i would get some ring terminals for the connection to the spring switch. I originally had them soldiered but it's more of a pita then it's worth, cause it gets hott and melts the plastic, plus if you ever need to take the components out it's easier to disconnect.. trust me just get some 12awg ring or spade terminals.

I bought the ofna truggy box when my losi box took a dump and dumped a lipo with it. Here are some pics of it wired. I used deans wet noodle and soldered everything. It works great.

seen that a while ago frank, looks clean.

I got the box today. didnt get it rewired, soldering gun took a crap. someone let me use theres to put the deans on, still have a tamia plug in there but ill rewire it soon.

It was giving me problems, never set up a starter box before, i had the losi box from the start. couldnt get it aligned right, wheel was hitting the chassis. found the problem fixed it. it was rubbing the front edge of the box a little after i got it aligned but other then that it started the motors great, lots of starting due to engine issues got those worked out(i think)

when i got home i moved the wheel back a little, sounds great, works great. Seen someone at our track who put stops in the box to use his buggy and truggy with same box, looked great my dad is going to fix it up. then ill get it rewired
