Well no matter how much i tighten it the flywheel still spins freely. I can tighten it anymore either and now i cant even take it off.

sounds like you have the wrong size collet for that motor.

you should be able to use whatever procedure to take it off as you got it on

I know for a fact i have the right collet. And its based of the car not the motor isnt it?

i think some of them are different. when you put the collet on the crankshaft did it have alot of slop?

Get a new collet. For Losi it's the same one that goes on the gas truck. Or the inside of your fly wheel may be worn.

I dont have the time to guy buy new tools right now nor the money. I guess i have to buy a new collet even though they are all the same.

Is there anything i can put on the inside of the collet to make it grab the crankshaft better?

take your motor, collet, and flywheel down to your LHS and go through what they have there.

there are different collet sizes depending on the crack diameter. not all of them are the same.

for example: http://www.amainhobbies.com/advanced...40&filter_cat=

notice one is for 6mm picco, and the other 7mm novarossi
