I WISH losi would offer a vented version of the bell's...the carbide bits are costing me a decent penny to vent them myself.

what can cause a clutch to slip besides bad springs? I think there might be to much play with the shimming.

And what is a sliping clutch? if the car is moving how is it sliping? Is it not grabing hold or is grabing hold and not letting go?

Where do you cut the vents? If it's not too much to ask, a picture would be splendid.

Thanks.

It might seem likes its grabbing hard but it might not be. See, when your springs weaken they dont push the shoes out hard enough to grab the bell. So with the shoes not fully grabbing the bell, your slipping. And the friction caused by that causes the the bell to over heat

weak spring's dont make the clutch slip more...its the complete opposite..you will get a clutch bog that no needle adjustment's will cure.....what can make a clutch slip is worn out shoes.....installing new bearing's without blowing out the grease from the inner bearing(this can be worked out if you give it a min or 2 of easy throttle.)

a ninja.21 probably wont have the bottom end to push .9 spring's.....stick with 1.0's and IF you need more stall for some strange reason....go to 1 1.1 and 2 1.0's.....still more go to 2 1.1 and 1 1.0 go in steps....dont just throw on all 1.1's you WILL burn down the clutch in no time.

slipping clutch makes the motor run Hot Hot due to the excessive RPM the motor's trying to pull.

PS 1000 post....congrats.
