Quation about swapping engines. onroad to offroad

Ok I have a HPI rs4 3 Evo+ 3.0 onroad and a Mini MGT 3.0 offroad. The offroad needs a new engine and i was wondering if its possible to take the 3.0 off my car and mount it on my MGT 3.0

since they are both 3.0 would there be a power difference?
