What kind of run time do the Alpha engines get? And do you guys mod them or just do break ins?

Man thats awesome. I need a new engine for my buggy and I was thinking about picking up one of these to try. Can I use a JP3 or 2035 pipe? Or will I need a new pipe for iit?

the jp3 would be a decent pipe, but cut down run time as jp pipes are fuel hogs..

the 2035 should get you around the same run time depending on fuel and altitude.

From our unofficial database of customer feedback about run time in buggy;

F850 = 8:30-10:45

S852 = 9:00-10:15

Z852 = 9:00-10:30

At the Nitro Cross last year I was able to pit at 10:15-30 with my F850 in Buggy and could run near 12:00 With my Z852 in Truggy.

This past Nitro Challenge the S852 in my buggy was running right at 10:00 (estimated after runs made in practice) In Truggy we were looking at just over 11:00 (11:05-10) with the Z852 (with over 9 gallons on this one on all original parts!)

We do break ins, prep work, rebuilds & bearing change outs. These really don't need power mods and we are working on a few ideas for better run time.

All Alpha engines are out of stock.

In saying that, we are accepting pre orders for the next shipment.

PM or email me at racecrafter@gmail.com for details.
