dont know about the mugen, but the 808 pulled me away from my losi 2.0.
both cars are durable and parts are pricey, but the cars stay tight and dont get sloppy like the losi and i think the 808 is a tad bit lighter.

A thread exactly like this one was started about two weeks ago. It is probably only a couple of days back in this forum.

I originally switched from a Losi 8ight to the Xray 808. The 808 is by far the lightest buggy you can get. It's insane. It is easy to push that car very, very hard without upsetting it.

I ended up going to the 8ight 2.0. For some reason they just rotate in the corners much better than anything else. Parts support is amazing, too.

Never tried the Mugen, but if it's anything like their touring car, it's top notch. Seems about equal to Xray.

Very helpfull Draux. I'll refrain from doing the same thing with 808. I chose to spend the 5 seconds it would have taken to use the SEARCH function. factory team the search function is there for a reason, but your comments are very helpfull also.

Compare betwen MBX6 and Xray 808

Both cars are awesome, just ask yourself if you want a traditional setup, or pillow balls.

Actually the pillow balls are way more traditional than the Xray front end.

The 809 uses a Zero kingpin frt suspension identical to the Losi, not an old school c-hub.

I vote X-ray by a hair. (+ active diffs are available for it)
