Default REEDY 121 VR ENGINE flywheel/clutch combos

What kind of flywheel/clutch combos are people running with this engine. the stock flywheel from my rc8 RTR .28 pro rubs up against the carb body. I do have an Ofna (Jammin) flywheel and some mugen shoes and springs. but with that flywheel I would need to shim the heck out of it to keep the clutch bell of the flywheel pins.

any suggestions or any combos that are known to work were I could utilize my mugen shoes. does the mugen flywheel have any clearance issues? Or maybe try something other than the typical 3 shoe set up. Just trying to use some stuff i already have though

I use the FT RC8T flywheel with Answer-RC RC8 clutches. If you don't rotate the card slightly it will rub. But you can easily rotate the carb out of the way so it doesn't rub, or have the carb turned so far off that the servo throw pull will be way out of wack.

I also answered this on ae forum, but the M2C lightened Aluminum flywheel can run any carb angle, it's offset just a hair and gives an extra mm of clearance. Use a standard collet, the tapered collet with mine had the flywheel a little warped.
