Awesome Backyard Track Austin Tx -- Video

First time out to this track near Austin. Its a backyard track and they have gatherings weekends to burn some nitro. It was HOT so not as many people as I would have liked but enough to make a decent video. I'll be heading back in the fall when its cooler and I can get to more spots to shoot from. I was worried about my cameras they were really hot to the touch. Anyways here is the vid from the Dude Ranch track near Austin Tx.

The water table has sunk so low around here that they can't get water from the well to water the track. So it just bakes in the sun and degrades. I hope we get some rain soon. Its getting bad here. A lot of the trees are already yellow. The track is usually much better groomed as the guy that owns it is a little of a fanatic about things being right. I like that they run on Sundays too. I'm always on the lookout for something to video on Sundays. Might head down to San Antonio this weekend for the reopening of Litespeed Raceway. Its a drag strip for scale cars. Newly repaved for the upcoming World Finals it should be quite a show this weekend. Who knows even a world record is possible since this is an IMDRA regional.
