metal rotors on a losi 2.0?
 

i would have posted this in the 2.0 thread, but i think it will need to come from a different car. i wish to put metal rotors on my eight. i really liked them on my 808, but the problem is the front disk on the losi is bigger than the rear. i found out that the 808 rotor is the same size as the losi rear rotor. but i need to find on that will mach the front rotor.

does anybody know what car out there has the same size metal rotor as the losi front rotor?

Not sure about metal rotors, but losi did come out with a new molded set of discs. They are molded out of some black composite and are not vented at all. They are also the same size front and rear. They are supposed to combat fade in long mains(not that the stock stuff fades anyway). Like I said, not metal, but might help some. Atleast is shows you can use the same size disc front and rear.:nod:

hey woodchuck, its thomas...dont know about losi haveing black carbon disks but xray has them, you also need plated steel pads for those brakes though.

sup homer! yes i'm trying to get the 808 brakes on my 2.0. talked to wes tonight, he now want's a 808.... why??????
