I have an 8ight 1.0 rtr and an RB wS7... Can I mod the the chassis to accept my starter box, or will a 2.0 rtr chassis work ORRR do I have to buy the 1.0 pro chassis????? PLEASE HELP

Yes the RTR chassis can work but you have to do two things:

1) Buy the Losi pro engine mounts so the engine sits lower on the chassis.
2) Use a file to slightly widen the flywheel hole in the chassis.

I used a RTR chassis on both an OFNA and Losi bump box. No need to file, you just need to change the motor mounts to lower the fly wheel.

I recommend this setup for easy clutch changing

Joe Cool is spot on!!! The quick change engine mounts are the way to go. It makes cleaning quick, clutch maintenance easy, clutch adjustment a breeze, and you can get extra top blocks to mount on different engines. That way several engines can be ready to go at any time. So nice.

I use the king headz extended quick change mount in my truggy and regular king headz quick change mount in the buggy. It makes taking the engine in and out a snap and yes you can have a backup engine ready to go and sway it out in minutes. Best way to go.
