Reccomended Pit-Bag
#16
It's 400$ at home, bought on internett it's 250$ and 100$ shipping.
I've ordered the T8, less than 200 shipped - it should do, for now.

Damn, the prices on these bags are ridiculous! Wonder if the cost would change if they were made for a different, more mainstream hobby. It seems that a lot of "made for RC" stuff is over-priced.
However, I can understand if that $199 price reflects materials and labor sourced from the US. Or is the bag made in China or Taiwan?

I'm more interested in actual pit bags (not haulers), like the ones from Hudy, Mugen, and Robotronic. The Hudy is... Hudy-priced but the Mugen isn't bad at ~$55 which is probably why they're back-ordered almost everywhere. I've seen links and new release info on the Robotronic pit bag but not a single price or place to order them from. Anyone?
Anyone got any other ideas or options that are actual pit bags similar to above?

Lowes sells one almost exactly like the mugen one but no elastic bands if those arnt a main selling point for you. I wanna say it was like $30 but you would have to check for price on line.

My son and I both have a wingtote truck bag. Kinda big and not too cheap but it will carry your truck and the kitchen sink

There are two things I don't like about it: There are a couple of dozen slots for tools inside of the main compartment of the bag, but they don't support the tools, and as such they just end up rolling around the interior. I get around this by keeping the tools in a pocket. The second thing I don't like about it is that it's awkward to carry. It's a huge bag, and there is no shoulder strap. I keep it in the trunk of my car, and work out of it from there.
If I could choose again, I'd probably get a roller bag with some sort of hard support structure so my tools will stay put.
