Exclamation Whats NEXT???

Just wonderin what the manufactures will be delivering to us next. I know the 2.0 Losi Truck was HUGE the MBX6T is awesome as well. The buggies that are out are all basically the same, just pick one and go. But is there much more in the tank?? This is only for fun and just general curiosity. At the same time....who knows, might get some insight and news???? AE will have to debut a second version of there truck to keep up with the Jones', It would be nice to see a motor last longer than they do. Remote start for the dreaded flame out, pass it up, refire, die on pit lane PIA!

I would like see engines become more powerful, more reliable, easier to use, and last longer.
Hey I can dream can't I.

Not so BIG like you're thinking, but I'm thinking larger engine might start showing up in buggies if they combine electric and nitro. I hope it doesn't come to that above the club racing level.

I would like to see an engine that has no sleeve! Just mill out the block and let that be the sleeve, this way it wont expand you will always have pinch and when the piston wears out you just need a new piston and rod..make the engine rebuildable forever, with 20+ gallons of runtime in between

Purpose-built electric 1/8 buggies are coming, I assume truggies as well.

Current buggies, like the Losi 8ight-E, are conversions and not really as efficient in design as a purpose-built buggy kit will be. The electric-only buggies will more closely resemble existing 1/10 scale... lighter, narrower chassis, etc.

We need stretched chassis GT2 and XXXNT based nitro short course trucks so we can resurect the Gas truck class as the new 2wd nitro short course.........Engines are far too expensive. For the price of an OS Speed that will last 4 months of racing and produce less than 2hp I can buy a pair of 5hp Honda engines that will last 10 years.
