I have a 28 spec 1 axial and for the life of me I can't get it to run cool, but there is a decent smoke coming out the exhaust in all low,med,high. any suggestions?

Try a cooler glow. Hope this helps.

Does the motor run fine besides the high temps? What temps are you running at? Run a meduim range plug.

first off leave your temp gun at home, tune it so it has decent punch, clears out on the top end, will idle for 45 seconds (at least) and so that it sounds good. some temp guns are completly out to lunch and actually get in the way of people finding a proper tune
