Default Ofna truggy starter box - rewire for Lipo?

I just got an Ofna truggy starter box. What needs to be done in order to run a lipo battery on it (I believe I have a 14.8v battery)?

Thanks

To make it bulletproof switch out the wiring to Deans "wet noodles" solder the connections directly in all places, and just put the connection tab on the end of the Noodles that works with your lipo

How did you hold the 7.4's down? Velcro?

I've also been considering switching my Ofna truggy box over to Lipo. My question is....do you need some type of low voltage cut off like you do on the electric cars/brushless set ups? How do you monitor voltage and know when to recharge the battery before it gets dangerously low?

Just get a blinky with voltage read out or just a lipo voltage checker to keep up with your batteries voltage. No need to cut the voltage. I wired my box for one battery and with a 4000mah lipo it will turn over anything and for a pretty good while, over a months worth of racing. I have my box for sale to by the way.

OK, I just want to be certain I'm doing this correctly:

1) Replace ALL wire with good wire (deans wet noodle)
2) Replace all connectors with deans type
3) Remove switch connectors and solder directly
4) Remove motor connectors and solder directly

Did I get this right?

Thanks everyone

yep that will make your box pretty solid, especially with the added voltage.
