thebarnfloor.com has great prices on bigger ticket items.

I haven't checked on the DX3S, but I got my Losi 8B 2.0 RTR (with the DX3S) for $599... That's the cheapest I've seen anyywhere.

You have to add an item to your cart to see the lowest pricing.

Sperera,

Be very careful with the telemetry. The temp reading is almost always off because of the air wizzing past the reader. So you have to take the reading stationary for it to be any good. On top of that, I was never able to get the RPM sensor working. The RTR comes built with a little piece of hardware supposed to measure how many times a mirror rushed past it, then there was a little mirror put on the center diff the turned as the diff turned.

It never worked for me.

I ended up selling the DX3S and changed to the DX3R.

If you buy the DX3S just for the telemetry, then you might be a little disappointed.

Just curious, did you try calibrating the rpm sensor as described in the manual? I was really hoping that this (and the temp sensor) would be accurate.

Keep in mind that some people selling the DX3S will also pull the extra RX out of the box, and knock $50 off the price, so if your really on a tight budget...
