I had a order in the basket for over 2k called AMAIN because i was wanting a deal talked to guy that put me on hold. Guess he had to talk to the owner came back on and told me the best that could do would be the 25.00 off i was like thanx but no thanx.:flaming:

Now Carolinas R/C on the other hand has 7% off toal order but there sold out of most stuff.:ha:

I have spent thousands at both and know what you mean, But when i call carolinas they answer the phone with a greeting and my name. and he always says let me call you back with a better price.. gotta love personal service.

Well that was a bad move. 25 off on an Amain order usually is less than the better $off at Carolinas............especially when Amain has a habit of dropping extra parts in the box on large orders

Never had any extra parts dropped in my box but I can say that carolinas price is usually cheaper than amain to begin with and they have a beter discount program. I also agree they are much nicer and friendlier to deal with on the phone. I had 2 orders that were over 250 at amain before and you can onlynise the coupon once so I called and asked tomise it again, they told me tuff you can only use it once. I didn't think that was very good business. Carolinas has alwYs taken the time with me on the phone I always leave with a smile.

I think once carolinas gets the inventory back up guys will start using them more over other shops. They have great discount codes and good prices. If you need a large tire order for AKA make sure to tell them what you are needing. Chances are they will make sure to order it then and there to get it coming. You may also ask them if it's possible to have that large of an order dropped shipped(some companies do, not sure on AKA).

I buy my AKA from Tower, lower prices than AMain on the product, and better coupon codes (which can be used on every order). Shipping is free as well if you order over $150 and are in the club.

He said he had over a $2k order. So lets say $2200. With the pricing on aka between the two it's really close. You save $25 w/ amain and they may drop in some stickers or a tshirt. I can't see any shop dropping in anything real significant on orders purchased.

With the 7% code carolinas has it's a $154 discount. That helps a lot these days. $150 is more than a days pay for a lot of people.

Can someone tell me what Carolinas is and i have an important question, is amain hobbies trusted to online order?

carolinas rc shut down, sucks. amain is very trust worthy, ive spent thousands with them, never has an order not show up.

amain is legit
i like amain because free shipping on orders over $100 and coupons
plus they are west coast so i get stuff in two days no problem

I have had one order not show up. But thats because some jerk off jacked it when the ups guy put it at my door. But amain did replace it for no cost. the said they will deal with ups for the cost and got my stuff to me in 2 days. :nod:
