Unhappy battery problems (help!!)

hello,
i had a nosram receiver battery pack (nimh) which i didnt take good care for it
(i didnt protect it with foam in the receiver box , it did discharged all the way)
anyway i had some problems and my servos were fried
i fried 3 servos and i was so pised off that i changed all my electronics
i bought(and currently have(4 months) )a dx3.0 hitec servos and a new hump pack
today i noticed that it drains the battery very quick
like every 2 tanks its almost dead
can batteries be damaged?
i have taken care of the battery (all the stuff that i didnt do in the nosram , i did them in this new)
i dont want to fry servos again
can you tell me whats going on
how can i test the electronics to assure that there are no issues?
thanks

May need to adjust your endpoints. If the servos are being over stressed from trying to turn past end pionts it will eventually burn the up. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a bad cell n the nimh pack. Cycle the battery 2x and see what it does. Or your charger is getting a false peak value. A 1600 nimh should last 45-1 hr with high drain digital servos. I run a 7955 and 7965 in my 2.0 and I get just over an hour on the nimh pack.

start troubleshooting with the easiest fix first. What are you charging it with ? a wall charger or a good charger ? sounds like it isnt charged 100%.
