Default My first attempt at a paint job.

This is the first paint job I have ever done. What do you think?

Not bad at all! The flames look familiar...XXX main paint mask? I used a set before, they apply pretty decent. Good job, keep it up

Nice job!!
I bought the flames pre-made. I applied them to the inside and painted the candy blue. I removed the flame stickers then dusted the flame tips with red then painted the rest of the inside with yellow. I then painted the entire inside with black. The red on candy blue made a purplish tint which was not intentional but ended up looking pretty cool. It kinda looks like a opalescent multi color paint like you would see on low-rider cars.

Is there a body mask scheme for 3 tone paint job?

I just applied the flame decals, shot the blue then removed the decals. I then lightly dusted the flame tips with red then shot the yellow. The bleed through effect on the blue made a purplish color kinda like a pearlescent paint job. I love the way it turned out.

I was just in your neck of the woods in March. I was on a business trip to New Iberia and I took a trip down to the French Quarter. I got the Shrimp Eutouffee (sp?) at the ACME Oyster Company on Bourbon Street. I love Cajun cooking!
