my frist day with my 8ight T 2.0 i lost a shock end on the rear shock. then i have noticed it is a pretty common thing due to the new longer shafts.. is there any mod to stop this from happing?? In last weekends a main i would say 5 out of 7 2.0T's lost the rear shock end

Did you and the 5 others check the shocks prior to running them ? they are stripped from the factory and require a little attention before they can be 100% trusted.....I've never once pulled a shock end off any of my losi's and in the very beginning i NEVER used to set droop as i didn't like the screw's gouging a home in the chassis....so i have 100% travel on my shocks and did that for over a year and never lost one.

This is a manufacture issue. They were all stripped from the factory. Even though it is a race roller. I prefer kits. A good suggestion is to take it apart and rebuild it to YOUR liking before ever running thr truck. Also you will find some issue with screws being too short and not seating into the nylon in the nut. If you ran truck box stock for a bit, you already know what I am talking about

Like Integra said some of the shock ends come stripped from the factory. All you need is new shock ends and check your droop screws to make sure the shock length is set right and the problem will be solved.

My buddies 8 T 2.0 had a shock end that had pulled off in the box. This was about 3 months ago, so maybe after that run of rollers Losi fixed the problem. I would still replace all the shock ends before I ever run the truck. Contact Losi and they will send you some new ends to put in your box for spares. Another reason I like to build them myself.
