plus4 without a doubt, 10-13min of runtime with sickening smooth power delivery(ofna 053 is a KILLER cheap pipe for a mad combo)........I never owned/ran a vspec......but I hear about them all the time.

Buy your plus4 from Houston and get customer service like NO ONE ELSE......GUARANTEED!

i will have to say that the vspec is not the same quality and the rod will go sooner or later is you get a speed then youre alright but otherwise go with the new nova smooth power and will last longer they are known for lasting dont get me wrong though both motors are good and if you shop around can find the plus 4 09 model for around 265 on the ebay or on this site in forsale some onw is selling them 275 shipped to you thats cheap for this motor

The Nova +4 without a doubt, over the V spec. I hear great things about the nova +4, the best part about this mill is that i havent heard any bad things. we heard it all about the V spec, still a good mill but as good as the Nova, starting to see lots of the +4 pop up everywhere. Im even considering it for my next engine.
If i ever get over the os speed!!

Dan.

just dont get frustradted with break in there is few things to have first is heat gun they are very tight fit from factory will have to get it up around 220 to start it the first time then keep it above 210 not over 235 for 5-10 tanks without turning it off and without the temp getting under 210 if do this then be patient motor will come alive and start to get fuel mileage around a gallon to gallon and a half . they take that long to break in just be pattient i runn a full gallon through mine on the bench and they last 4 ever my current p5x practice motor at jbrl round 1 was pulling the speeds down the straight and running at 215 temp wise oh yeah forgot its 19 gallons new on orig. parts except front bearing

A break-in bench, think it is basically a mounted engine attached to a prop.
