Use a heat gun on the nut, the heat will break the loctite free.

are you sure you're not turning the crankshaft along with the nut?

use piston locking tool to lock the crankshaft, heat the pinion well and it should go off. then flywheel removal tool to take off the flywheel.

you need to get a ROD lock, I dont agree with any other way - but some people uses toothbrushes or zip ties through the rear....

just don't use the piston lock tools that go in the glow plug hole and don't stick anything in the rear exhaust.

you see that slot/slice on the collet? get the smallest/thinnest flat head screwdriver you can find and stick the head in the slot/slice to force the collet to open up.

I would not use a piston locking tool. It could damage the piston. If I have that problem, I pull the back plate and use a pair of needle nose pliers and a small rag to hold the conrod. Or you can put a zip tie thru the exhaust port to keep the piston from moving.
