Default steering servo return

I have a m11 and a hitec 7955 for steering.

ok. when i turn right or left it goes to my desired endpoint but when it returns to neutral it is slightly off from what straight is. I am pretty sure it wasn't doing this when i first got it. I have a mugen and my pillow balls and linkage are set correctly.

any one have any ideas?

with all the adjustments the m11 has there is not a steering return endpoints adjustment. you can only adjust the speed

any ideas?

on the ground. I will test it while moving later. It will align better when driving?

technically yes,

but Im surprised that with the 7955 and the amount of tourque - check or servo saver to make sure its not to soft - make sure nothing bent in the front end.....

it could be on your M11 steering wheel. I have heard some M11 radios having this problem of not centering.

check there, and if it is...do a search you'll find some info on how to fix it. Also you could send it in, from what I hear they fix it for free.

if it's doing it while i am driving it's not enough to tell. Still does it though. even though it does not effect my driving per se, still agravating as hell. How much should my servo saver be tightened with the 7955? I did drop the trasmitter so i guess it could be the wheel. I don't want to be without it though while they fix it.

For a 7955 the saver needs to be pretty tight if its loose you will not get your full steering throw because it will break way to easy.. This happened to me and I thought I just didn't have enough off-power steering, and kept making setup changes. Then someone said I should check to make sure my saver is tight enough, and sure enough.. It was breaking under barely any pressure.

I know that isn't your issue, but just wanted to share that.

Also, if you think its your Transmitter here is the solution. Buy the M11x (provided your woman lets you ) then send in the M11 for repair, and when you get it back you have a great back up to the new bad ass M11x.

I know I would do that as its what I did with my spektrum equipment. Got a DX3R and I have a DX3S that came off a Losi RTR i bought for cheap and as a parts buggy. That way I at least have a decent back up instead of a DX2.0 or 3.0.
