A better topic would be ...

Name one buggy that does not need to be ever modified, tweaked, changed or up graded. That is competive on a weekly basis....

Kyosho?...
Mugen?...Jammin? Hobao??? Losi?

They all need some love..

If ever there is the all smack down layin car developed..let me drive it..I bet its not right for me..

Own it, Drive it, Tweak it, Race it, win with it if ya can!!!

Well, do the math - he's a member for five months and has nearly 800 posts. I think we're knocking on the door of "post whore."

As for my picks, I say RedCat Racing/Himoto, SH, Seben Racing, Exceed RC, XTM, Smartech, and Carson. There are so many others, but these are the companies that make the most AWESOME stuff.

Sorry, forgot about X-ray, probably would have been 5th. Hot Bodies is good too.
Kyosho's new kit is within $100.00 of Losi and Mugen, the factory guy's are using the new car.

I understand this is a for fun thread, thats cool. Most guys are picking in order of what they drive and no factual research. Just a ford vs. Chevy deal. Hey, that's cool too

I do drive a losi. I do so for a lot of reasons. I went digging around to see what all I could find.

I have to give the losi the top spot for several reasons.

National title 3 years in a row. 2007,2008,2009

Readers Choice car of the year several years running. Unlike this forum who is a small circle of guys those magazines reach hundreds of thousands of normal bashers, racers, etc. Just the normal end consumer, those guys vote for the most popular car. For the masses it's no suprise.

A long list of wins all across the world.

A first of it's kind. The original 8ight sent companies to the drawing board. IT started a trend that we are seeing today.

Losi/Horizon is a large company with great service and support. They have a lot of resources that test, tune, etc. In the end this provides the customer with a top notch product. In a sense like nascar racing...the larger more expereinced team is more productive over the smaller one car teams. It's costly but it provides results and good product.(see the neo buggy write up about this)

So I feel that Losi has done a great deal of hard work. At this time that deserves that #1 spot, and based on the hundreds of thousands who vote each year it has/had that spot for a few years

Carry on!
