is it common practice to mix harder springs with soft ones?
I was curious if i could run 2 soft springs with 1 hard spring in my clutch. I have some new shoes and springs and the set of "new springs" that i just took off my old clutch (they have a couple tanks on them) they still have plenty of spring. So instead of installing all new 1.0 springs, thought i would mix some of the "lighter springs" with the new ones.
good idea or bad? seems like it would be the same as mixing .9 with 1.0 or 1.1

make sure to mark the spring's so you know which are "new" and which were "Newer"
as for mixing the spring rate's....100% fine...a lot of people do it...the stock losi clutch mixes spring's for the fact they run a carbon/alum mix for shoes....1 thing if you run a carbon set-up dont stall them over 1.0....if anything go 1.1 on the alum's first.
