If you had both in your hand and said joe you can HAVE either one, i'd grab the JX and run... JK i'd prob take the speed and sell it and go buy 2 ninjas

Anytime bro! And thank you for the complement!

I don't see how money could be a issue when a ninja is almost 350 and a al speed is 400$ If i was going to get the speed i would get the 400$ one. But i have decieded on the ninja because of the porting and case design. Now if someone would hurry up and get it in stock already!!!! Cause when i get my engine in about 10 days if there is no ninjas in stock i will have to settle for the speed

The desicion between the speed and ninja is simple, is it for a buggy or truggy. Buggy, I run speeds all day long and love them. Truggy, I run ninjas, or my new favorite truggy motor = A speed with a 5 port ninja piston/sleeve. Speed just does not have enough snap on bottom for me for a truggy. The ninja has much more snap than the speed, to much though for a buggy.

yea the ninja has a lot of snap, more than a speed, but with the right clutch set up a ninja is perfect for a buggy aswell. But with the stock mugen clutch set up i could see why you would say a ninja is better in a truggy.

yea, On my ninja in my truggy I can run 1.0 clutch springs and it works great (First motor I have ran in a truggy and not uses 1.1 or 1.2 springs). If you put 1.1 or 1.2 springs on the speed it does ok in truggy, but temps seemed to run a little hotter and mileage was not near as good as the ninja.

The thing people don't seem to be taking into consideration is that the OS SPEED is a modded engine, whereas the Ninja is a stocker.

OS SPEED: about $400-420.00

NINJA: about $300-315.00

If I had to choose between them both, I would have gotten the ninja, and with the $$ I saved, I'd get it custom modded.
