yes. over time it will put a hole in it though, where the screw from the radio tray rubs. atleast that was me and my buddies experience.

Yup they fit. It's tight, but like TOPS said they will eventually wear themselves in to fit.

Nope that's the only lid. You gotta take the foam out for it to fit.

The Ballistic fits perfectly in the 8ight after the foam is takin out and a little bit of dremel work.

I also use the ballistic batteries 2700mah rx pack.

I took the foam out, and still didn't fit, so lightly dremeled the lid to make it fit. It's almost at the point of breaking through, so put a sticker over the lid and works fine.

If I remember i'll take a pic of the inside

How do you think you are able to get 2700mah? Bigger cells! The rest of your packs would have been 1600 and under. They do fit into the box because many people including myself use them. Take the foam out and slap it in there.

for the first charge i used to shock the pack with 1.5v on the first charge or 2......after that you drop it back down to .5v and your pack will give you months or good pack life.

remember the First Charge will NEVER be full capacity...so DO NOT rely on it for a race.
