I think it's the Orion ABIs that have those shims.

I know the tuned Picco onroad .12's have a sleeve shim in them. Haven't heard of any offroad motors with them but it would be a nice option. Especially since most offroad motors have so much less timing in them anyway.

Are those shims available separate or are they unobtainable like the .12 ones? I made some for a picco .12 for a friend out of some .23 head shims.

I talked with Adrian Bertin at the nats and he said that Orion was offering them. I didn't ask if they were available separate.
I just make my own, I might be selling them soon.

This is a very good engine for short tracks. Tons of low end and midrange power. Tunes easy and holds a solid idle as well which makes it very user friendly.

You gotta try it with a 2060 pipe. Ive been told the engine is really smooth and nobody has mentioned a lack of top end. Those people were using a 2060 pipe.

Default getting smoked on the strights

yes, it would rock a small track but i race at Rev's in SO. CAL .Ran the REEDY today it has a small tunning window w/ a p3 (just make sure you pit guy knows it!!!. or an hour will bring the temp up quick. The bottom is nice while the top peters out. Its is a very smooth engine. i hope its gets a little better it has about 3/4 gallon but my ninja w/ 4 gallons turns over about the same.....

Sounds like you need some "internal engine adjustments" to bring more top end out of the engine for you.
