Default what is the runtime on a toro nero??

just curious. Looks like a badass engine. While i am at it. Why do on road engines cost twice as much as off road engines?

If you want a Novarossi get the Plus 21-4. Adam Drake at one of the local tracks come into pit at around the 11:30 mark. I'm not daring enough to do that, so I usually come in at about 8 min and still have about quarter tank left..

If your looking for ultimate run time Plus 4 is the choice.

Runtime numbers are worthless unless you ask someone at your own track.

If you asked three weeks ago what the runtime on my Speed was, I would've said "12 minutes".

If you asked me today, I'd say "9 minutes".

Why the vast change? My local track was changed from tight and technical to fast and open. We're wide open on the throttle a lot more than we were three weeks ago.

My current 9 minute runtime might mean 13 minutes at your track.

Sorry to go a little off topic, dreaux

I've heard that an engine runs longer on a tank of fuel when it is cold than on a warm day. To me it sounds wrong, when an engine needs less fuel because of the lower oxygen in the air when it is warm (or high humidity).

Help

the abouve statements are very true, on top of the drivers finger controles alot of that, what may be 9 min for a smooth driver will end up being 8 for another on the same track with a heavy finger or not correctly tuned motor, another thing you have to know is that at some of the big events the motor manufatures have there vvery best tunners there for the teams to stretch the limit.

Onroad motor's are designed for a completly different application, where an off road motor has a powerband for smooth pulls out of turns and steady spool up, onroad is made for wide open and much more rpm, in a sence you are getting way more, but only for a onroad application, these onroad motors will propel a 1/8 onroad car to 70mph, there is a difference. There are alot of youtube vid's you can watch, and asee what i mean. Valentino Rossi drove one for the first time, look that up and go from there.
