Got a picture by chance? I'm curious how big those packs strapped on top of each other is. Sounds like a hefty pack. So you could probally run a half hour main with one long stop for a battery change?

And to $80 dollar battery guy: Where did you find 'em? Please share! A 4-6 cell Maxamps battery ain't cheap.

Wow...Maxamps.....visit Rc-monster.com. Lots of info there that will definitely help you out performance and pocket book wise. Also both packs together that he speaks of is only around 720 grams and is 10000mah

I don't strap them on top of each other, I strap them side by side. it's about 60mm wide. try hobbycity.com and take a look at flightmax, turnigy, or zippy packs. I've run the heck out of mine and they are still doing great. I'm probably converting to 4s soon and 2 of those in parallel would make a 30 min main with no stops.

PS: It's almost becoming common knowledge among the brushless crowd that maxamps is a WAY overrated overpriced battery.

Most people know, take a Maxamp C rating on their batt and divide by 2. Their big bad new 60C batt, more like maybe a 30C...lol

No way?................Are these any good?

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...0mAh_5S1P_30C_

If so, it really makes the days where we used to spend $80 on a 6 cell 2200mah SCRC nicad pack look really sad.

They are awesome. I run the 3S, 4S 5S and 6S versions. All of them have been awesome.

Yep the zippy and flightmax batteries are hands down the absolute best bang for the buck.
