quick question, what kinda vehicle are you running,
also you said ball cups. so I'm assuming 1/10 scale. what are you doing when they pop off.
I used to run a RC10GT, and it would occasionally pop a ball end. a couple hard hits to the wall stressed the rod end and loosened it too much, replaced stock ones with RPM's, problem solved . The down fall with the captured style if your popping the ball cups from impacts instead of just popping the rod end, you end up breaking parts like knuckles or bending the tie rods. so then problem fixer just became bigger problem maker.

Good Luck At the Races. Scott

I just re read your post, rear tie rod ends, check your suspension make sure there isnt any binds, and double check that the rod ends are lined up straight and not fighting each other. I sheared a rod end on my D8 because the ends weren't lined up and it was flexing the outer end side to side when the suspension was cycling through the rough stuff.
good luck getting it fixed.
