Don't have the M8T but I am running the MF5 in my truggy & just got my CQ5for my buggy & will be breaking her in so far my M5 has been doing me well all around motorgreat run time & holds her tune the M5 is a long stroke the CQ5 is a short stroke so I will be able to give the pro's & cons once I race it in 2 weeks

The sirio pipe is great for the Sirio or Sirio base engines & also perfect for Picco as for Nova based engines it's not the best pipe it has a tendency to cook the nova's I am currently using the Max power 2018 on the M5 & will be using the 2073 pipe on the CQ5 & it still needs some more breaking in

Just ran my Max power M5 today with 2018 pipe on eight restrictor nearly done with the break in process, the engine is very very smooth, and the runtime so far on 8 restrictor is 10m38s to a flame out. Temping on an empty tank at 253F.

Needles still fat as pickup is a bit slow, once tuned am guessing 12mins easy at 260F maybe pushing 13mins on 7 restrictor.

Very impressed, holds idle well even during break in process.

Anyone running the 2073 ?? I would like to know the difference in relation to the 2018 pipe and which manifold to use on the 2073 pipe ?

A picture of the pipe would help me understand more, as I only have 2017 and 2018 pipe on hand...

Thanks

Anyone else running the 3 port MX 21? What do you think about it? A friend of mine is just finishing break-in and it sounds great and was easy to get a tune on. It seems to have great bottom end but we haven't put a race tune on it yet.

Am not sure about the 3 port, but I know the hudy's and leno were running them at the buggy party and did real good, sorry I meant the c5q.

Mistake in my previous post leino was not running max he was running orion.

The hudy's were running max if I am not mistaken the pipe was 2018 or 2017 but the elbow was not what it ships out with.

In the thread you can see the buggy / truggy that the hudy's were running it looks like a M5 not even c5q, but I am sure I saw them at one point running c5q.

In the other picture you can see leino using the orion.

Floss you will be happy, it's a very smooth engine, am saying this on the M5 with 2018 pipe.

Real good run time also and holds the tune well keeps reminding me of the P5 which I heard many say is the base.

I checked with Fabio (Max Power)a while back he said to try the new 2073 pipe they are shipping now it gives even better run time and performance.

At the current performance level, it's sweet, and knowing fabio's work you get what you pay for.

Drove his XXL3 on the onroad RRR I have and it's absolutely amazing.

Default I've got the 3port racer engine....

It took forever to break in, like the novas, duh, but I've been so used to my p5 that it seemed a little slow to me, even compared to my .21bf novarossi, but maybe it needs more track time, sometimes it takes a while, but no joke I really didn't like it, I would rather have a bf nova, IMO....Should I try taking out a head shim or something. It seemed like something was wrong, but nothing I could say is really wrong with it. I might need to just put that sucker back in my buggy and run it to really say one way or another.....It really is a pretty engine, and well made. Any advice guys....

Hey Jorge, we have been running a M5B, with a MX 28011 head button, MX 6-T glow plug, .7mm head shim stack thickness, 7.5mm restrict-or, Ninja medium header, and a 2073 pipe, 20% Byron's fuel. VERY impressive top-end, awesome driveability and 12 minute run time at lake park. If we could hook it up I would sacrifice some run time for OFF THE CHAIN/ ON-ROAD WORTHY power and put the 8mm in. Have not had any need to play with pipes. LET IT RIP
