Default Performance Tuning

Well im off to the hobby shop tonight to get my new buggy tuned. Just finished doing 6 tanks so it should be fully broken in by now.

Still cant get it to change to second gear though, im thinking the people I bought it from werent being honest with me.

I will let you all know on weekend how its running.

Sorry I keep doing this. Model is BS802T.

I thought all the decent buggies were 2 speed. I know the nitro road ones are anyway.

I know its on the cheaper side of the nitro off road scale but when they say its 2 speed thats what I expect.

So are all your buggies single speed?

All buggies that I know of are a single speed and they are the best buggies out. You might be mistaking and have it wrong. lol.

Heres what I found with that part # Is this the buggy you are talking about?

BUGGY

I have never seen a 2 speed 1/8 off road buggy. I have seen 2 speed monster trucks and 2 speed on road cars. All the buggies that race around here are single speed. I would suggest that you check on parts availability as you are bound to break a few.

Ok thats something to keep in mind. Well in case you didnt know im knew to the 1/8 scene, I have had a road buggy in the past which was 2 speed, I just assumed the decent off road ones would be the same.

I am pretty sure when I was looking for my buggy that the 1/10 off road buggies were all 2 speed. Does this sound correct?

Looks like mine must be a single speed. Still cant explain why they told me it was 2 speed when I bought it, they must now have know fully about it.

With regards to spare parts I have already had a little bit of trouble but nothing a bit of thinking wont fix.

I broke the steering horn on the servo second tank, couldnt get the same horn, had to get an alum. one, use a nut and bolt instead of just a screw for the original.

Then a small plastic nut fell off a different part of the steering, couldnt get one of those, had to use a different nut and bolt, took a little modification but much better than original set up.
