Thumbs up Building Rc track in backyard

Tell me if i leave a step out. This is how i think i should build a off road rc track in my backyard.

Step1: KIll the grass with grass killer
Step2: Rake the grass out and rake where the track is going to be so thats its flat

Step3:Get alot of dirt
Step4: build all the jumps with the dirt that i got
Step5 : setup the pipes

I would only need to get dirt for the hills, right? Because after i kill the grass there will be dirt there already.

What do yall think of my method of building a track?

Default If you're running Nitro...

6. Bribe the neighbors. ( they will soon hate you, if they don't already)
7. Make friends with the police. (they will get called to your house a lot)
8. Find a new Wife / Girlfriend (You will be spending a shitload of time in the back yard)

Make sure you build the track higher in the back so there is a bit of grade to it. Otherwise water will puddle. It also makes it easier to see!

if you can get clay to build the jumps and stuff. it will hold better than just reg top soil and less maintence as well. im going to build a track in my bakcyard in a couple weeks as well. i cant wait. it'll be a blast.

Ill give you a tip that both of my friends used when they built their tracks within the past few months, they had a lot of big bricks lying around, and they set the bricks as a base for all of their jumps and their tabletop. This not only saved a lot of dirt but it was a perfect support for all the jumps. And it saves a lot of time.

What my buddy also did is put grass killer everywhere, but instead of raking he put some propane thing on a torch and torched all the remaining grass down to the dirt, then started layering dirt around. So he pretty much killed the grass, then set his yard on fire, then started shoveling.

Hope this helps
