Lightbulb trimming clutch shoes?!??!!

can anyone give a brief how-to on trimming clutch shoes? On some setup sheets it says under clutch shoes "trimmed"? Can we get an explanation and a how-to? Thanks for the help!

just cut off the last 1/8" on the tip. once you cut one of them stack it on the next one and cut them all the same length

A clutch that will engage later due to the smaller contact patch and lighter shoe. = more punch

Could you not accomplish the same things by changing springs?

can someone share pictures how to do it right i read & understand but just want to see how you guys do it ......thks i currently own the answer rc usa clutch shoe & i want to give it a try
