Default V Spec Help

Im having trouble starting up my v spec. Its not new so that shouldnt be the problem. The glowplug is glowing. My starter box is running on one 1600 mah nicd battery. And i saw fuel go into the carb. When i push down on the box the engine sound is real low not like its going to start. Maybe the glow plug isnt glowing enough? Is it because there is not enough power going to the starter box? Any input would help...

That could be the main issue, has it started fine before, also with the starting if you press to hard while starting it the motor will never reach speed to run, you just want to bump it on the box, not keep it pressed down hard against the flywheel, But the battery may be the reason for slow starter wheel speed.

Make sure you have a good charge on your igniter. Just because it glows out of the engine might not mean that it will light when it gets fuel on it.

You could have too much fuel in the crankcase. Is the plug wet when you remove it?

(also make sure your fuel lines and pressure lines are routed correctly.

You're definately going to need 2 higher powered Nicds to turn the motor over. 1 1600 pack is nowhere near enough.

We have two 2400 sticks and it is still just barley enough to start our car. One 1600 pack wont do anything
