Those things were too hard for most people to drive with stadium truck tires on them. They'd be uncontrollable with SCT tires.

Just the body... for sure hard with SCT tires! Man I just think it might get us to use them ( gas trucks) again!

I think one in 5 households have a gastruck, add a body Race Corr Gas Truck! JConcepts has a cool one with a light rack that is a universal fit for most trucks!

Or start smoking.

Just kidding. Honestly, I think Nitro SC will be the natural progression. Yes the Traxxas Slayer is out, but it's 4wd and pricey. I'm gonna haveta start a buzz about this in the pits at my local track.

I think we need to extend the chassis Glen.Use the same ballpark chassis length as the Strike, SC10 and Slash.Otherwize the shortcourse police will jump on it faster than they would a SC10 with as brushless. The eighth scale nitro SC trucks are extended so are the electrics.Maybe BCE or some other chassis company will come through with a GT2 and XXXNT extended chassis.

A extend chassis for the gt2 would not be that hard to make. I was think about making one out carbon fiber.

According to AE specs the GT2 wheel base is 285mm, and the SC10 wheelbase is 327mm. So the chassis would need to be 42mm longer. Plus, depending on where the chassis is stretched, there may be other parts needing modification. Nothing difficult tho.

I'm extending an old Losi NXT for a SC gas truck. It's all tricked out old school.Carbon fiber and titanium.Gotta luv it.I hope the SC10 wheels will fit.
I'll use the J Concepts truth body and SC10 tires. This class will save GAS TRUCK.

By the way.Any truck faster than mine will not be allowed to run in my class. The GT2 based truck will have to run with the truggies and will be limited to a .05 engine, 20cc's of fuel, drift tires and a 1 channel radio.
