I've been with Ebay since 2001 and have had great success with buying things from kits, parts, tires/wheels, engines, etc. The most important thing you need to watch out for; like others have said is, their feedback rating. Ebay is where the great deals and bargains can be had if your patient and do your homework. For example: I purchase a NIB Ninja JX .21 $240, OS Speed II $385 and tons of other stuff for well below even LHS prices. I like to support my LHS, but my money has to go to where the best prices are at.

Just remember, more often then not nobody sells a good running engine. If it's used and it's on ebay, chances are somethings wrong with it.
I know from personal experience if I have a good running mill in my truggy or even as a back up. I'm not selling it until I blow it up or it ceases to run consistently anymore.
