You can get diff oil up to 100,000 weight but thats almost like locking them..try maybe 25,000

If you pulled the center shaft out you would need a locked center diff. I really don't see why you would do either of those things though. Diffs need oil for two reasons. The first being to lubricate them. Running your diffs dry will wear them out very quickly. The other reason for oil is to tune them. You use different weights or thickness of oil to tune the diffs to do different things. I really don't know why you would want 2wd.

well i have 3,000 in it now but im just going to unscrew the locking screw so it can handle better. But i have another question, is it better to land on all 4 wheels or land on the rear first then let the front come down??

all the weight and pressure of landing on your rear will blow your shocks and bend the a-arms and ruin your bulkhead and break the rear shock tower, not to mention in racing applications you want to be able to get on the gas immediately and you cant do that if you have to wait for the front to come down..Use thicker shock springs and thicker oil, with thinner pistons and you wont bottom out, but the cars handling will be greatly effected. Everything you do to adjust your car is a trade off..you gain something and lose another

Its not going to come up fast with 80 weight oil, and its also going to bounce when you land the jumps, but you wont bottom out and slap the chassis.

80 weight is very thick, it will limit your chassis role and decrease traction to the point that on a track it will be useless

Put some thicker oil in your center diff. Try 10,000 or like jaz said 25,000 for bashing. All the power was being unloaded to the front wheels because 3,000 is really light especially for the really heavy LX One w/ a .28.
