Default losi 8ight 1.0 to 2.0 conversion.

hey everyone, i have a losi 8ight 1.0 and im thinking about getting the 2.0 chassis. if i put the 2.0 chassis on, would everything fit like it does with the 1.0 chassis. also i have the 2.0 suspension arms. if i were to change those..would i have to get different driveshafts? because the 2.0 arms are longer than the 1.0. thanks in advanced.

You should take a look at the BCE chassis for the Losi. Just did a change out on our buggy and it is AWESOME. Best part is it's a direct change over for the 1.0 to the 2.0 length. This this is on rails. Take a look, you won't be sorry.

just the chassis and the rear center driveshaft. and a body if you want you can make the old one fit you just have to cut a new hole. Im doing the samething but I am going with the bce chassis.

Yes. If you get the BCE chassis and get a 2.0 buggy center drive shaft you will be ready. I did a prototype for BCE about 3 weeks or so ago. I took a clean 1.0 and added nothing more than the chassis and rear drive shaft. The difference is amazing to say the least. Tons more steering, Jumps better and seems to have more forward bite as well. The production units that are shipping this week are the finalized chassis and are even better than what we have on the car now.

are you talking buggy or truggy

if buggy

to run the 2.0 chassis like everyone has said you need the 2.0 centre rear driveshaft also. and a body

If you want to change to the 2.0 arms the front are a direct fit but the rears you will need 2.0 hubs and outer hinge pins as the hinge pins are a larger diametre.

for the truggy

chassis, centre drivshaft and body

arms- you'll still need hingepins and hubs but you'll also need front and rear driveshafts due to the longer arms
