Default Find center on throttle/brake servo

Hello all,

I am trying to follow these directions:

Losi

but I am having trouble understanding what they want me to do.

Specifically,

3) Set the throttle servo horn (Losa9166) over the servo horn insert and observe the horn's alignment against the servo. Is it exactly inline with the servo or pointing a little inwards or outwards? With the transmitter still on to hold the neutral position, adjust the alignment of the splines until the servo horn is centered in relationship to the throttle servo. It may take a few tries to find this position. See the above photo for proper orientation of the servo horn.

I think what it is telling me to do is to adjust the throttle and brake arms so that I can set the horn so it is directly over top of the servo parallel to it.

Is this true?

Thanks.

to center it all you do is set your trims on the remote to 0 for steering and turn it on and it will center itself and then put the horn on paralell to the servo like stated above.

I wish it was that easy. When it was built (RTR) the arms were set up so wrong that it would have been impossible to do that.

I needed to take the arms out to adjust the holder so I could move the rest of the pieces forward.
