Do any of the jp1 or jp3 or jp4 or dynamite086 pipes work well with the v spec? Will any make more bottom end torq than the other? I have it in a truggy and top end is fine but want alittle more bottom. Or should i put 1.1 clutch springs on for better bottom snap? Thanks

JP1 has more bottom end than a fat lady at the beach. But it will increase fuel consumption tho....I liked the JP4 for a bit of every thing.....

I used the 4 for awhile then tried the 3 and havent gone back

JP-3 is the best out of your list, and is actually one of my favorites on the v-spec.

ive tried 3 different pipes with the vspec. ae 2035 was first in a buggy, then i tried jp3 and then a dyn 053. I used the jp3 for a while in my truggy but then i had to give my dads vspec back to him that was in my buggy so i put the 2035 pipe in the truggys vspec because it was really smooth. I love this pipe the best. i get about 8.5 min per tank with 7 mm res. The low end is smoother then a jp3 but it still has plenty of power. i just bought a ninja pipe cant think of the model, i am going to try it this weekend.

the ae 2035 pipe works well on many motors and its like 60 bucks for pipe and header. ill go back to this if the ninja wont get me over 10 min run time

For the two pipes you mentioned, I would go with the JP3. I used the JP3 initially with my speed and it was a good match. I have since changed to the OS 2060 pipe and like it a little better than the JP3 pipe.

Jp1 would give you more snap out of the JP pipes, But the best overall is the JP3.

I know its off topic but at the recent Aussie Truggy Nats the winner was running a v-spec with a Thunder Tiger / AE 2035 and getting 14 minutes. he wasnt low on power by any means

they are a pretty cheap pipe that may be worth looking at

a great low end pipe for the vspec is the losi R10,it works very well with that motor,and it's 20 bucks less than the JP's.but if you already have the jp1 that would be the one you want for more low end.

I know you guys are going to think I'm nuts, but try the Losi Sport RTR pipe. You can probably pick one up from someone for next to nothing. I compared it to the 2060 I was running on my Vspec and it had more power all around and a full minute more runtime. Getting 12 minutes on large tracks with it.

I like the 053 (I run the Dynamite, but there are several manufacturers that make them... also 9853 is the same thing.) The Losi RE11 is great too... essentially a 2050. The RE11 is about $60 I think, and really well made. The Dynamite 053 is about $52 last time I checked... the header is a little soft (easily dented) so keep that in mind- but the pipe itself is very tough.

From your list I would go with the jp3 it will be the best bet. Personally I like the os 2060 or mugen 2042 (same pipe) I have them both one for truggy and one for buggy and they just work so well with the vspec engines. Great smooth power delivery and excellent mileage.
