Default AMB Transponder Mod

Does anybody know who does the AMB transponder mod so that you can have 2 or 3 with the same numbers? Web link or e-mail address would be cool.

Here you go:

http://www.rclaps.com/

There is s few week lead time but the product is outstanding IMO. I didn't get the cloned version though. Mine has 21 prestored numbers in it. To get a clone you need to send you amb to them. They are a supirior product. And they weigh about half of an AMB. They have one that weighs 1/3 rd the weight as well. Not to mention less than half the price!

Default clone

I had 2 clones done on my amb. Yes I did have to send it to them. They are as reliable as amb. Never missed a lap. You do have to fill out the paper work for the clone. As far as phone # I dont know. Once they have your amb on file you dont have to send it back to get more clones. They are great.

so how does it work having 21 numbers in it? How do you choose which to use? How much does it cost?

Because AMB control the #'s there is a SMALL chance someone might show up with the same number. There is a small button on the transponder that you push and it goes to the next # in line. You run it over the loop to get the #. You can also program in your own number I believe but I never tried.

everybody gets the same 20 numbers.the 21st number is either a clone of the amb number that you have to physically send them,or it is a slightly more random number.of the three that i ordered, none had the same 21st number .you count the blinking lights to decide which of the 21 numbers the transponder will use at that time.you can choose between the numbers any time.i have used these in a slash, revo, truggy buggy, and a couple of other vehicles.the price and performance is outstanding.some of my installs have been a little sloppy to perfect, and i have never had an issue.i feel like amb has a ridiculous monopoly and I am personally very happy that we can give them a kick in the crotch for a reality check.

these kick a$$!

Hey guys, I was looking at the ordering form and it says something about trading in my PT (yes or no). What the heck does that mean?

Also, they talk about a "trade in" discount. Does anyone know what they are talking about?

So let me see if I understand this. I send them my AMB transponder and they send me back a clone of my transponder. They keep my original transponder and charge me $60.00? Something doesn't seem right.

Replaceable leads too, if I'm not mistaken.
