How many threads do you have to start? Oh BTW this is the nitro off-road fourm, the 4-tec is on-road.

Since you are here, I will give you my experiences with it. For an out of the box street basher it is Insane!! fast as hell, easy to use, you are driving it in about 15 minutes, great instructions, good engine, push button start..Driving up and down the street at 60MPH gets boring really fast..if you even think about taking it to a track..DONT! you will be all over the place and crashing into everything. It is juts not set up for racing..You need $200 worth of modifications to race it, and then it will still suck. If you just want to have fun in the street. You will love it

+1 on what Jaz said.

If you have the slightest idea about going to a track get something else.
I already went down the whole racing a Traxxas vehicle.
I ended spending twice the money because I had to go and by a losi

4 tec will not move in grass, its made for on-road only, and pretty much only in a straight line, or drifting, lol You'll have more fun with the Jato

im into the jato or the 4 tec. 4 tec, cuz its smaller. jato, so i can go over a hole, unlike a 4 tec. how good would the jato last in sand? is it safe?
