Default racing and fuel milege aside. What is the most powerfull engine you can put in a

buggy?? Sorry, i know it's kind of a stupid question but have been wondering this for a while. I have the parts to put together a bad ass basher. And i have a engine that is legal and gets great milege. I want something with more power then my vspec. Now i know a bigger engine means more power but does that mean it will be faster to (doesn't really matter would be cool though) Now somebody help me i want a HULK of a engine. Gas milege and such does not matter. Mainly just for a practice track i have at my house.

what ya got??

extech .24

O.S. .28

axial .32

086 pipe i have

I want to be able to do landscaping with my buggy if you know what i mean

Most powerful mill out there that would still be practical would probably be a modded picco/JPX .28

JPX = Jammin version of the Picco....there basically all the same.....the darn LRP.21 is also a re badged picco/JPX.

the .28 will have more overall power but might get out reved on top end....it all depends on gearing and vehicle and who the modder is.

JPX is a picco based Jammin mill. One of the nastiest engines you can buy, even in stock form.

I think the highest dyno'd engine XRC has ever had was the Hot Mod Novarossi .28 7 port (728?). It was over 2hp.

If it's the .26 that I think it is, it's nothing compared to the actual picco engines. Isn't the one you have a force .26? The one with the big round purple head. Not sure if those are picco based or not.

I would go with a powerhouse modded GRP .28. I had one a few months ago and that thing would practically rip the tires off the rims. I hear that LRP .30 is quite a beast too, or the OS .28 that engine is a beast.

It dont matter much anyway, he's gonna shred his drivetrane and blow up his diffs and probably strip all his gears and take the motor out within a month

Dreaux, I hope you have allot of tires

Gotta agree with that. But he did ask for the most powerful engine.

Seriously you should stick with a moderate power .21 and learn to drive the thing. Overpowering it to the moon won't help you at all. It may be fun, but it won't teach you anything. That is unless you can learn to control it, but that is very doubtful with some of the engines mentioned above.
