While we are on the subject can any of you explain why the top on-road engines are 3 times the price of the top off road engines?

do you think the engine will have enough power, in a buggy, with all four sand paddles (truck paddles, not buggy), to keep the buggy on top of water?

the power to weight ratio should be pretty good, I've seen some vids of monster trucks trying to do that, but they were much heavier with not too powerfull motors. I'm trying to recreate the iceland hill climber rigs but with the R/C

I figure since this is a powerfull engine discussion, my question is somewhat on topic

p.s. I have very well considered the insane power of say a 6s brushless, but the cost and risk factor make it a no-no for now..

yea but i would get it modded by maximo and you will realy be amazed

Yea the zenons are fast but a modded 35 plus 21 is a bit faster on the bottom.

Bottom is not so much of a concern for me,looking for something with high horsepower and all out RPM's to do top speed runs in a nitro engine.

no one seems to mention it, but the rb rt28 is a beast. Ive gone up to clutch bell teeth, and restricted the carb and still cant put dowm more then a quarter throttle. i dont know if anything else uses this engine though.
