Default Telementry help

I'm nto sure if this is the right place for this but heres the ?. On a dx3s to set up the telemetry for mph it says to put a mark on the i think its the clutch bell or what ever the sensor is reading from, (my losi 2.0 buggy is reading from the cd,) it says to roll the vehicle so that the mark turns 10 revolutions beside a tape measure then take that reading and devide by 10. it doing this it rolled 42" so my roll out would be 4.2 correct? if i take the reading from the clutch bell the reading is 12" and the role out would be 1.2, would i be correct in using the 4.2 reading? thanks a ton for any help....

I don't have the radio so I'm just working on what I understand.
I'm assuming that as long as you use whatever distance you get when your rotate the mark 10 times then it would work correctly.

If you don't find an answer you like though you could probably call horizon to get an exact answer.
