Default Losi Smart Diffs

Hello all,

Losi lists 4 product numbers for their smart diffs

LOSA3600, LOSA3601, LOSA3602, LOSA3603

Front and Centre diffs for the buggy (LOSA3600 and 01)

Front and centre diffs for the truggy (LOSA3602 and 03)

But they only list one set of pieces regardless of whether they SD is for B or T (LOSA3604-08).

Does this mean that T and B front smart diffs are interchangeable and this mean that T and B centre smart diffs are interchangeable?

Thanks a lot.

B and T use different gearing. Get the B if you have a buggy and T if you have a truggy.

Not sure about the Front diff, but the Centers are different only in the spur gear.

48T is stock on the Buggy
50T is stock on the Truggy if I'm correct.

The Front Diff Sun Gears could be different sizes, but I'm not to sure as I only run Buggy.

I think the truggy has more teeth on the front ring gear than the buggy.

I understand they are being sold as different. The question is more - are they different.

for example, the buggy and truggy both have different size clucth bells.

I am trying to understand what the differeces are between them since the replacement parts seem to fit the diffs for both cars.

This more what I am looking for.

I have tried to find a parts list for them, but have not had much luck.

The only thing that's different is the number of teeth on the gears. All the internals and cases are the same in the B and T.

Well I found the parts list and I also found the answer.

The diffs are almost identical in all respects.

There are only 2 differences:

1) Each diff has a different ring gear or spur gear
LOSA3509
LOSA3511
LOSA3555
LOSA3556

2) The front and centre diffs have one different piece
LOSA3553
LOSA3554

Otheer than this, they are identical.
